| PARTNERS |
The Istanbul Forum on the Middle East has two partners. The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the Foundation for Political, Economic and Societal Research (SETA).
The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) is a nonpartisan American public policy and grantmaking institution dedicated to promoting greater cooperation and understanding between North America and Europe. GMF does this by supporting individuals and institutions working on transatlantic issues, by convening leaders to discuss the most pressing transatlantic themes, and by examining ways in which transatlantic cooperation can address a variety of global policy challenges. In addition, GMF supports a number of initiatives to strengthen democracies. For more information about GMF see www.gmfus.org.
The Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) is a non-profit research institute dedicated to innovative studies on national, regional, and international issues. The objective of SETA is to produce up-to-date and accurate knowledge and analyses in the fields of politics, economy and society and to inform policy makers and the public on changing political, economic, social and cultural conditions. SETA evaluates national and international issues in an historical and cultural context. As a research and policy recommending institution, SETA provides a forum for international dialog to bring different views together with international scholarly standards, and contributes to the formation of a common ground.
